The NFL Draft is getting closer and closer after months of feeling like it was eons away following the Eagles' dismantling of the Chiefs in last year's Super Bowl. Tampa Bay's 2024 season wasn't horrible by any means, but being bounced in the Wild Card round is less than ideal for a team that was close to reaching the division championship just a season before. The Buccaneers had a solid offseason in free agency and now they will look towards the draft here to supplement their efforts.

The Washington Commanders are gearing up for the NFL draft just like every other team in the NFL but they have already done tremendous work this offseason through free agency and via trades to help elevate them from their NFC Championship appearance just a season ago. The basis of concentration for most centers around the offense and defense but the forgotten aspect of the game of football comes with special teams.

The NFL Draft is right around the corner, and the Washington Commanders, along with the rest of the league, are setting their sights on the next crop of collegiate players that are expected to make an impact. The NFL Draft is just a couple of weeks away now, and teams are starting to narrow down their draft boards as they welcome in their new crop of collegiate players. This offseason has been a fun one with moves being made all over the place. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are no exception to this, as they have done pretty much everything that the fan base has wanted up to this point and likely will continue to do so by going heavy on the defensive side of the ball in the draft.

@Buccaneers All 38 of the @Buccaneers 1st through 6th round draft selections from 2019-2024 were on an NFL roster last season. Tampa Bay is the only team to have every such pick remain in the NFL over that span. #WeAreTheKrewe | @jasonrlicht https://t.co/ZbtBFBjF3t
