Early last Friday morning, witnesses reported a lifted truck crashed into the fencing at Red Mountain. The fence was extensively damaged, and the truck also likely received damage in the collision.

The Nipawin Fire Department was called just before 9 p.m. on Sunday to a grass fire in the RM of Nipawin. “Just a reminder to everyone, even though there’s still snow on the ground in several places, the grass is already bone dry,” said the department in a social media post.
