The expectations were extremely high for Cade Klubnik when he arrived on the Clemson campus. Three years, later, he’s matched the hype. Klubnik completed his breakout in 2024, throwing for 3,639 yards, 36 touchdowns and six interceptions. The Texas native also added 463 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground. If there was any doubt, Klubnik dropped the mic with a heroic three-touchdown outing against a dominant Texas defense. ESPN reranked the 2022 recruiting class and Klubnik flew up 10 spots.

Tee Higgins played the 2024 season on the franchise tag, awaiting a potential extension from the Cincinnati Bengals. He delivered with 73 catches for 911 yards and 10 touchdowns over just 12 games. If there was any doubt of how important Higgins is, he dropped the mic with a three-touchdown game Dec. 28 in an overtime win.

A Clemson transfer has found his new home. Wide receiver Troy Stellato entered the transfer portal after playing three seasons as a Tiger. The Clemson Insider has confirmed he’s signed to Kentucky to play for the Wildcats. Over three seasons, Stellato totaled 66 catches for 616 yards and two touchdowns. Injuries limited his production but Stellato hopes the new scenery and a healthy season could be the breakout he awaited.
