Located on the island of Honshu is Japan’s third-largest city, Osaka. The city is huge, with a population of over 2.5 million people, and is bustling with plenty of things to see in Osaka. Laax, or Flims-Laax-Falera, is one of Switzerland’s biggest and best ski resorts. The ski area may have made its name in recent years for its massive parks and contests, but its history is steeped in classic downhill skiing. Along the way, it never lost its roots and still makes for a wonderful ski destination in Switzerland. It has tremendous facilities, reliable snow, a wide variety of terrain, and, of course, one of the best snowparks in the world.

Paro Taktshang, more commonly called Tiger’s Nest, is the picture-perfect image of Bhutan. While the monastery is easily the most popular thing to do in Bhutan and on every visitor’s bucket list, it doesn’t enjoy the instant recognition of other famous landmarks like Machu Picchu or the Eiffel Tower. It also isn’t as easily accessible as sites like the Colosseum or the Pyramids, as reaching Tiger’s Nest requires a two-hour hike, but it’s well worth it and completely doable for most.
