In this work we present a calculation of exotic charmonium production in ultraperipheral collisions, in which the exotic state is explicitly treated as a meson molecule. Our formalism is general, but we focus on the lightest possible exotic charmonium state: a D+D− molecular bound state. It was proposed some time ago, and it has been an object of experimental searches. Here we study the production of the open charm pair in the process γγ→D+D−.

Automated salting-out assisted single-phase liquid–liquid extraction of Cr(vi) from river water samples prior to its atomic absorption spectrometric determination† A new automated method was developed combining the features of the salting-out effect, single-phase liquid–liquid extraction (SPLLE), and flow-batch analysis to determine Cr(VI) in river water samples by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry.

We search for a B decay mode where one can find a peak for a DD¯ bound state predicted in effective theories and in lattice QCD calculations, which has also been claimed from some reactions that show an accumulated strength in DD¯ production at threshold. We find a good candidate in the B+→K+ηη reaction, by looking at the ηη mass distribution.
