Earlier today, I had the honor of joining First Lady Dr. Jill Biden, Maria Shriver, Dr. Carolyn M. Mazure and Dr. Renee Wegrzyn on the HLTH USA main stage, as we discussed the business case for investing in women’s health, the impact of women’s health on workforce productivity, the progress we’ve made in the last year alone, and the excitement and energy behind closing the women’s health gap. I am so inspired by the pioneering work of my fellow speakers to champion better health for women and their communities, and am coming away energized by today's conversation. And huge congratulations to the recipients of the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Sprint for Women's Health grants announced today – I look forward to seeing the impact investing in their innovations will have. For too long now, women's health has taken a back seat. Changing that requires action and investment from stakeholders across industries and sectors - everyone has a role to play and everyone will benefit from accelerating investment in women’s health research.
