Spirit Airlines said Wednesday it is adding 15 nonstop destinations from Detroit Metro Airport. The new and resuming routes from Detroit are to: Austin, Birmingham, Charleston, Hartford, Louisville, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Norfolk, Phoenix, Punta Cana, Richmond, Salt Lake City, San Diego, San Juan and St. Louis. Paul Tazewell just made Oscars history. For his work on "Wicked," Tazwell became the first Black man to win the Academy Award for costume design. Tazewell’s win, and what it represented, brought the Oscars audience to their feet.
