Word came today that Berkshire Hathaway’s HomeServices of America now former CEO, Gino Blefari, stepped down from his five-year leadership role at the real estate giant Tuesday to become a chairman emeritus. In his place is none other than Chris Kelly, executive vice president of HomeServices of America. Yes, that’s OUR Chris Kelly, former CEO of the Ebby Halliday Companies here in North Texas.

There are not many homes that put my head into a spin. But then there is 6617 Forest Creek Dr. I stopped counting how many times “amazing” came out of my mouth while touring the home. And the neighborhood: Forest Creek is in North Dallas just south of Forest Lane, south of LBJ. Dallas has so many beautiful hidden neighborhoods, and this is one of them. I happen to live just south of the Forest Creek nook, and I can honestly say this is the most accessible location in town.

I honestly cannot understand two really great things about this beautiful Melshire Estates home. One, its square footage and two, its price. In fact, 5740 Northmoor has landed firmly into my “take a second look” bucket, the pickiest real estate bucket in town, but laser-focused on downsizing properties. (As you may know by now, my husband and I are downsizing. (Big huge sigh.)At 4,838 square feet, this could be an upsizing for a growing family.

Why do Dems like @JeffKitner always say tax dollars are limited but spending on bureaucracy, counting trees, mapping heat areas, 10 DEI departments, no limits for that stuff!

When asked how he’d fund Dallas police pensions, Jolly Jeff Kitner proposed legalizing gambling. God forbid we slash wasteful spending like tree counting or stockpiling vacant real estate. Is anyone surprised the expression "trimming the fat" isn't in Jolly Jeff's vocabulary? https://t.co/cnhGVOEBJ2

Wait a damn minute. Weren’t we going to fund education with the lottery? Legalized gambling hurts the poor:min wage workers the most! Why should the state clean up our mess? Tax dollars are only limited bc we waste so much on unnecessary crap like tree counting too many
