    • Kristina Carlyle has arrived on beautiful Cape Cod, MA, hired by CCB Media to do mornings on AC WQRC (99.9 The Q) and track afternoons on Country cousin WKPE (Cape Country 104). She reports to OM Jon Reilly, who returned to his native Massachusetts last September when he joined CCB. Carlyle, who was also born and raised in Massachusetts, most recently co-hosted the morning show on Mid-West Family Country WWQM (Q106)/Madison, WI until budget cuts eliminated her position in late January.

    When I lived in Boston, one of my favorite things to do during the summer was visit the Cape. With the two-hour drive down from Boston, it was always an easy day trip—even if there was lots of traffic. If you’re not from the northeast, you might be surprised to learn that Cape Cod is actually a pretty big area. And the two hour drive from Boston just gets you to the very beginning of the Cape. Anything further and you’re adding more and more time to the drive.
