A pair of Edmonton bridges now, officially honouring the names of two fallen police officers. The pair of bridges on the southwest corner of the Anthony Henday officially rededicated with new signage Friday, to constable Brett Ryan and Travis Jordan, shot and killed on the job in March of 2023. "You don't want to see any of those who are fallen be forgotten," said Chief Dale Mcfee, Edmonton police service. "It's just something that is going to outlast all of us.

The Edmonton man who brutally murdered a seven-year-old girl in her own home will need to serve 15 years in prison before he is eligible for parole. David Michel Moss was found guilty of second-degree murder more than a year ago for the 2020 killing of Bella Rose Desrosiers, a sentence that carries an automatic life sentence.
