    A Maryland man who jumped a fence and ran on to the field without permission at the T20 Cricket World Cup in Nassau County was arrested on Saturday. Police say 31-year-old Ashwin Godker ran toward the players after making it on to the field during a “test match” in Eisenhower Park. He was quickly arrested, and no one was hurt. Officials were on high alert at the Nassau County Cricket Stadium at Eisenhower Park despite no matches scheduled for Sunday.

    A Massapequa nurse practitioner reunited with the physician assistant who gave her a kidney. Melissa Moscola and Nicole Salant have a special bond. Moscola says she decided to get tested to help Salant, who desperately needed a kidney transplant. "It really impacted by life," explained Salant. Moscola soon learned she was a match and started the process to become a kidney donor for a longtime friend. "I am healthy. I was able to do this for her and help someone in need," says Moscola, of Melville.

    Several Army servicemembers were reunited with their puppies that they rescued while stationed overseas in Eastern Europe. "I can't believe she is here," says Jared Bertagnolli, of the United States Army. Thursday's reunion took place at the Paws of War headquarters in Nesconset, Suffolk County. "She was my companion on the base. She kept my mind occupied while I was there," explains Army servicemen Troy Koenig.
