1. IntroductionDirect interaction with patients constitutes a key feature of medical curricula, leading to the development of knowledge, clinical reasoning, communication skills, and professional attitudes among medical students [1,2,3]. As a matter of fact, student–patient interactions at the bedside, guided by physicians during teaching sessions, continue to serve as the cornerstone for the comprehensive training of future doctors and the practice of medicine [2].
