LINCOLN PARK (WWJ) - Questions swirl after a man's body was found by a Meijer loss prevention team in Lincoln Park earlier this week when they went to check out a vehicle sitting in their parking lot for days on end. Lincoln Park Police Department told the News Herald that they weren't exactly sure how long the man had been deceased before he was found inside the vehicle at the Meijer located at 3710 Dix Highway on March 24.

REDFORD TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - A 21-year-old worker is dead after the end to a pressurized pipe being worked on at a Redford Township elementary school on Wednesday ruptured and struck him in the head, officials confirmed. The Redford Township Police Department told WWJ that the young man was working at the George H. Fisher Elementary School at 10000 Crosley when the pipe he was working on burst just before 9:30 a.m.The end-cap blew off and hit the victim in the head, killing him.

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroiters are having a harder time catching up on debt than other Americans as the city ranks among the top 100 large cities in the U.S. where people have the biggest issues paying their bills. According to personal-finance website WalletHub, Detroit is the second-most delinquent city with residents delinquent on 14.8% of all their loans and lines of credit. This is the third-highest delinquency rate in terms of the number of individual tradelines, Wallethub added.

CLIO (WWJ) - Two people and one suspect are dead in a domestic violence incident that escalated into a shootout with police at a Genesee County apartment complex on Tuesday night. Chief Wendel Millstead with the Clio Police Department told WWJ that officers and Genesee County Sheriff's Deputies responded to an apartment complex in the 600 block of N. Mill Street just after 7:30 p.m. for a domestic incident with shots fired.

IGNACE (WWJ) - Search and rescue efforts to find at least six missing people continue into the afternoon hours after a cargo ship rammed into Baltimore's Francis Scott Bridge early Tuesday, causing the span to collapse into the water below. The incident has many Michiganders feeling uneasy about the state's own famous suspension bridge and if its ever been involved in a collision.
