KDKA's Cassidy Wood met up with the team recently, who are led by ace pitcher and Clemson recruit Lexie Hames. Seneca Valley is undefeated right now with hopes of winning it all this year. The reigning WPIAL 6A champions made it all the way to the PIAA 6A Quarterfinals last spring with aspirations of gold this season.

Friday's PIAA 6A Championship game will feature Upper St. Clair and Perkiomen Valley and it's the first time in over two decades the Panthers team from the South Hills is competing for a state title.

On campus in Moon Township on Wednesday, it was a big farewell for the Colonials as they headed to Cleveland for the matchup.
