KDKA-TV (Pittsburgh, PA)
KDKA-TV, also known as channel 2, is a television station located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, that broadcasts CBS network programs. It is part of the CBS News and Stations division and is closely linked with the CW station WPCW (channel 19), which is licensed in Jeannette. Both stations operate from shared studios in the Gateway Center situated in downtown Pittsburgh. The transmitter for KDKA-TV is positioned in the Perry North area of the city. Notably, KDKA-TV and its sister station KYW-TV in Philadelphia are the only CBS-affiliated stations east of the Mississippi River that have call signs starting with "K."
