    SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Isolated severe thunderstorms began to pop up in the early afternoon on Wednesday thanks to building heat and humidity. Highs peaked in the low to middle 90s. Severe storms are expected to remain isolated through the evening hours on Wednesday, tapering off by midnight. A Severe Thunderstorm WATCH is in effect until 10pm. Skies will stay mostly cloudy Wednesday night with a few very isolated showers or thunderstorms into the overnight.

    SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Tuesday was warm and quiet with light and variable winds and very sunny skies. Daytime highs peaked in the low to middle 80s. High clouds return Tuesday night with very mild overnight lows, in the low 50s. Clouds will thicken up from the south as Wednesday wears on. Showers will be possible Wednesday afternoon, a rumble of thunder or two can’t be ruled out. Rain accumulations will be light and few and far between.
