SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Tuesday gave us an afternoon of very slow-moving pop-up thunderstorms. The rain came down heavily in some areas and with the storms just not moving much, some areas were receiving 1 to 2 inches of rain per hour, and Flash Flood Warnings were in effect for places like Akron, Ireton, Maurice, and Orange City. The intensity and number of thunderstorms will decrease as we get into the evening and overnight hours with lows in the mid 60s.

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Monday stayed a cool day with highs only getting into the upper 60s and lower 70s with a lot of cloud cover and a cool northerly breeze. Monday night should allow clouds to clear out a bit better, but some areas of smoke will stay across the region with cool lows near 50 degrees. Tuesday will feel a lot different from Monday.

SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Siouxland saw a mixture of sun and clouds on Friday afternoon with highs staying below average for this time of year in the low to mid 70s. Friday night will bring back another chance of a few showers and maybe even a couple of thunderstorms. The best chances will be late in the night and into early Saturday morning, with southern Siouxland being the most likely area to see a bit more widespread rain as lows go into the mid to upper 50s.
