I always end every year thinking back on the food I’ve experienced with genuine surprise. So many cuisines and expressions of food I couldn’t have imagined. We’re about as lucky as it gets in Nashville to have something unique to sample around every corner. So what’s ahead in 2025? I can’t even imagine, but I have a few requests. I want Jollibee! Forget In-N-Out, scheduled to be up and running next year. I can already get that at West Coast Burgers, run by a former In-N-Out manager, in Nolensville.

It was a terrible and unfair ordeal having to eat at Locust at 10:45 a.m.We were so distraught and confused at having to be dressed in anything but jammies and slippers that we ordered two Irish gin and tonics just to try to make sense of it all. And then, with the sleep still clouding our vision, we completely misunderstood the menu and ordered far more food than we could possibly eat in one sitting.
