Two Massachusetts homes are famous for their ugliness. Premiering on June 19, season six of of HGTV's "Ugliest House in America" featured two houses in Massachusetts. The show travels across the country to tour ugly homes nominated by their owners, with the house deemed the ugliest winning a $150,000 renovation by interior designer Alison Victoria. On the fourth episode, titled "New Ugly New England," host Marietta "Retta" Sirleaf visited one house in Hampden and one in Somerset.
