Milford police officer Brian Sanchioni and his K9 partner, Titan, were named Officers of the Month for April by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. The pair located and saved a missing 8-year-old non-verbal autistic child who had wandered away from home. Titan tracked the child through backyards and a stream, eventually finding him holding onto a tree in the water.
