Marvel Comics has announced Cavan Scott and Stefano Nesi are launching a new five-issue Gwenpool series in May. Dubbed a more darker and deadlier version of the character, the series marks the Marvel Comics debut of artist Stefano Nesi, known for his acclaimed recent work on Batman. I don’t really know how to describe this except that I’m equally as excited (For original Gwenpool returning) as I am scared (For original Gwen’s return)? It’s being revealed now that last week’s Return of Gwen Stacy hints that took the Marvel comics world by storm last week were both a joke and a quite literal interpretation. Because the original Gwen Stacy is making her triumphant return this May, but not in the way we all thought.
