One of Twickenham's most anticipated cultural events, High Tide Festival, is set to return on Sunday, 27 July 2025, promising a full day of live music — all completely free of charge. Now recognised as one of the borough's biggest arts events, High Tide 2025 will feature an eclectic mix of established artists, local bands, and poets, spread across 17 stages and venues throughout Twickenham.

A much-loved mixed martial arts gym in Twickenham is saying "goodbye" to its King Street home after over four decades of training local residents. Busen Martial Arts, which has taught judo, ju-jitsu and other disciplines to generations of Twickenham locals, has announced it will be relocating from its dojo at 9 King Street after 42 years of service. Despite the move, the team behind Busen say the will "journey" continue at 244 Stanley Road, Twickenham.

Richmond Council say it is working as "quickly as possible" to reinstate the Thames towpath between Richmond Lock and Kew Gardens. The towpath on Ferry Lane remains closed following the unexpected collapse of a section on Saturday, 19 October 2024. Richmond Council believes the collapse was likely caused by a combination of factors, including high river levels and strong winds on that day.
