The mill spans 1,700 acres between W.Va. POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. (WV News) — The fourth annual “Praise Along the River” will be held at 7 p.m. on Sunday, at Riverfront Park in Point Pleasant. The event will begin with opening remarks from organizer Brian Billings. An opening prayer of praise will be given by Pastor Ronnie Tote of Trinity United Methodist Church. Music will follow by Sincere Revival from Wheelersburg, Ohio. This year’s guest speaker is Pastor Ray Kane from Grace Methodist Church in Gallipolis, Ohio.

CROWN CITY, Ohio (WV News) — The Gallia County Local Schools Board of Education approved a comprehensive package of financial and personnel measures during its meeting Monday, in preparation for the 2025-2026 academic year. Board members in attendance were President Brandon Twyman, Vice President Paula Whitt, and members Jeff Halley, Larry Carter, and Terry Halley. Superintendent Phillip Kuhn and Treasurer Jack Webb also participated.
