(KTTC) – The Minnesota Army National Guard is seeing more people interested in joining the military this year than in years past. Lieut. Colo. Christopher Bingham, Minnesota Army National Guard Battalion Office in Charge, said they haven’t seen these kinds of number since the early twenty-teens. He said 105 recruiters around the gopher state are keeping busy. The desire to serve is there, but the process to enlist has become more complicated than in years past, according to Bingham.

(KTTC) – After starting the week off with an air quality alert across parts the state. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) has issued an air quality alert Tuesday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. for ground-level ozone. This alert will impact Minnesotans in nearly two-thirds of the western part of the state. According to MPCA, sunny skies, warm temperatures and dry conditions creates an ideal environment for two types of pollutants.
