KEITHVILLE, La. (KSLA/Gray News) – The mother of a 2-year-old girl who was killed in a murder-suicide that left three others dead is at a loss for why it happened. Kara Hanning, the mom of 2-year-old Adalynn Mae Sadler, said she wouldn’t wish this tragedy on anybody. On May 5, the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office was called out to a home in Keithville, Louisiana, to do a welfare check. When deputies got there, they said Adalynn’s grandfather, 60-year-old Leroy Sadler, refused to communicate with them.

INDIANAPOLIS (WRTV) - It was a memorable weekend at Indiana University in Bloomington. Graduation ceremonies took place on Saturday and among those who turned their tassels was a father and his daughter, who are now members of the class of 2025. Liv Clements and Reggie Johnson got to celebrate their accomplishment together. “It’s going to be a great story to tell,” Johnson said. Johnson worked at the university years ago in various departments to help support his family.

ROCHESTER, Minn. (KARE 11) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a University of Minnesota student’s death. According to a university spokesperson, the female student was reported missing Monday afternoon. She had been last seen in the area of Delaware Street Southeast and East River Road. Officers found the student deceased near the Mississippi River, the university spokesperson said. The death is now under active investigation.

The funding efforts come after a Rochester woman, who has identified herself as Shiloh Hendrix, was recorded in a Rochester park reportedly calling a child with autism a racial slur. The video has been shared around social media, garnering millions of views.
