AbstractMono(ADP-ribosyl)ation (MARylation), a post-translational modification (PTM) of proteins, is emerging as a critical regulator of ribosome function and translation. Herein, we demonstrate that RACK1, a member of the tryptophan-aspartate repeat (WD-repeat) family of proteins and an integral component of the ribosome, is MARylated by the mono(ADP-ribosyl) transferase (MART) PARP14 in ovarian cancer cells.

The Keswick RCMP is asking the public for help as they attempt to locate a vehicle of interest in connection with an incident at a residence in Pepper Creek last month. Officers responded early in the evening on June 26th to an incident at a residence on Country Wood Lane. Police say they are looking for a white sedan or hatchback with dark tinted windows in connection to that investigation.

Three levels of government have combined to invest more than $8.8 million to improve water and wastewater infrastructure in Bathurst and Belle-Baie. Officials say the funding will help renew drinking water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer lines, and replace road infrastructure on Chaleur Street and St. Anne Street in Bathurst, and help relocate and rebuild two lift stations in Belle-Baie.

The Saint-Léonard RCMP is asking the public for help after guns and a motocross bike were stolen from a residence in the Local Service District (LSD) of Drummond earlier this month. Police believe one or more individuals entered an unoccupied residence on Range Road sometime between 4:00 p.m. on July 10th and 9:00 a.m. July 11th. Investigators say a gun safe containing six long-guns was taken from the property, along with a yellow Suzuki motocross bike.

The Town of Woodstock has issued a Boil Order for parts of the town following a water main break. In a social media post Thursday morning, officials say the order covers 503-451 Main Street, 506-452 Main Street, 101-102 Prince William Street, and 104, 108 and 110 Foundry Street. Any water to be ingested, including for use while brushing teeth, making ice or beverages, and washing raw vegetables, should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
