AbstractMono(ADP-ribosyl)ation (MARylation), a post-translational modification (PTM) of proteins, is emerging as a critical regulator of ribosome function and translation. Herein, we demonstrate that RACK1, a member of the tryptophan-aspartate repeat (WD-repeat) family of proteins and an integral component of the ribosome, is MARylated by the mono(ADP-ribosyl) transferase (MART) PARP14 in ovarian cancer cells.
Police need help identifying vehicle of interest in Pepper Creek

The Keswick RCMP is asking the public for help as they attempt to locate a vehicle of interest in connection with an incident at a residence in Pepper Creek last month. Officers responded early in the evening on June 26th to an incident at a residence on Country Wood Lane. Police say they are looking for a white sedan or hatchback with dark tinted windows in connection to that investigation.
$8.8 million to be invested in infrastructure in Bathurst and Belle-Baie

Three levels of government have combined to invest more than $8.8 million to improve water and wastewater infrastructure in Bathurst and Belle-Baie. Officials say the funding will help renew drinking water, sanitary sewer and storm sewer lines, and replace road infrastructure on Chaleur Street and St. Anne Street in Bathurst, and help relocate and rebuild two lift stations in Belle-Baie.
Guns, motocross bike stolen from LSD of Drummond

The Saint-Léonard RCMP is asking the public for help after guns and a motocross bike were stolen from a residence in the Local Service District (LSD) of Drummond earlier this month. Police believe one or more individuals entered an unoccupied residence on Range Road sometime between 4:00 p.m. on July 10th and 9:00 a.m. July 11th. Investigators say a gun safe containing six long-guns was taken from the property, along with a yellow Suzuki motocross bike.
Boil Order issued for parts of Woodstock

The Town of Woodstock has issued a Boil Order for parts of the town following a water main break. In a social media post Thursday morning, officials say the order covers 503-451 Main Street, 506-452 Main Street, 101-102 Prince William Street, and 104, 108 and 110 Foundry Street. Any water to be ingested, including for use while brushing teeth, making ice or beverages, and washing raw vegetables, should be brought to a rolling boil for at least one minute.
Western Valley Region RCMP search for missing Bath teen

The Western Valley Region RCMP is asking the public for help as they attempt to locate Mylee McKinney. Investigators say the 15-year old was last seen Wednesday at around 9:30 p.m., at a residence on Main Street in Bath, and was reported missing to police the same night. McKinney is described as standing around 5'2" tall and weighing around 110 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and a nose ring of a cross.
Police seek dirt bike stolen from South Tetagouche

The Chaleur Region RCMP is asking the public for help in their search for a dirt bike stolen from South Tetagouche. Investigators believe the green 2006 Kawasaki KX450 was taken from a residence on rue Daigle in the community on July 3rd. Police say the bike has New Brunswick licence plate XU 3287 and vehicle identification number JKAKXGDC26A004484.
Contraband seized from inmate at Dorchester Penitentiary

Correctional Service Canada (CSC) says contraband has been seized from an inmate at Dorchester Penitentiary. A release states the inmate attempted to bring contraband including shatter (cannabis extract) into the medium security federal institution on July 1st. Officials say the total institutional value of the seizure is estimated at $26,000. The prison service says the police have been notified of the incident, and the institution is investigating.
Province, Ottawa invest $2.1 million in tourism in Lamèque

Provincial and federal officials have announced more than $2.1 million in funding for a unique tourism experience in Lamèque. A release states Carrefour Coop will use the funding to renovate two buildings and create an interpretation centre to celebrate the co-operative movement. The centre will feature videos, immersive experiences, cultural and historical displays, and will allow visitors to board fishing vessels, while also complementing nearby tourism experiences.
Fredericton Service New Brunswick to move to Brookside Mall

Service New Brunswick's (SNB) Fredericton centre will move to the Brookside Mall next summer. SNB says it issued a request in March for space in Fredericton's downtown core, but no adequate locations were identified. Officials say Brookside Mall was selected as it meets all requirements, including access to city transit and adequate parking, and the new space will serve as an extension of SNB's current office in Brookside Place.
