In professional football’s modern era, most players are well integrated within an academy by the time they turn 15. But not Jamie Vardy - he could be found in the parks of Sheffield, chasing down lost causes and harrying defenders into mistakes. While not yet a household name, Jeremy Monga is someone Leicester City fans have been raving about for some time. The 15-year-old winger has made a rapid rise through the Foxes’ youth ranks, quickly outgrowing the U18 side to become an established regular at U23 level. And at the tender age of 15 years and 271 days old he's been handed his Premier League debut, Monga coming on in the 74th minute at the King Power Stadium.

The veteran striker made it 200 goals for the Foxes and England as he helped Steve Cooper's side to a heroic comeback on the south coast. While it was a special day for Vardy, he wasn't the only Leicester forward setting records as Jordan Ayew clinched a late, late victory with a winner in the eighth minute of injury-time.

Milan Mandarić is a well-known name to English football fansThe ex-chairman of Portsmouth, Leicester City, and Sheffield Wednesday has a mixed reputation among supporters, having guided Pompey to the Premier League in 2003 but also overseen Leicester’s relegation to League 1 in 2008. It was Mandarić’s time with The Foxes that led to one of the club’s most infamous signings of the 21st century – a player with a near-mythical reputation amongst fans: Hossein Kaebi.
