The Colonials defeated Mount Olive in the sectional semifinal, 3-0, to advance to the second straight sectional championship appearance once again on the back of a dominant player in the circle. Last year as Morristown marched on an improbable run to the program’s first ever sectional championship the Colonials were led by star pitcher Callie Volker.

BOONTON, NJ – The Morristown Colonials wrapped up the regular season with a strong 11-3 win against the Boonton Bombers on a cold, wet afternoon. Thursday’s game was a tale of two halves for Morristown as the Colonials got off to a slow start against Boonton. The Bombers scored the only goal of the first quarter and never trailed in the first half. The Colonials finally got on the board 69 seconds into the second period when Alex Davis netted his first of five goals to level the score at 1.

MORRISTOWN, NJ – It was a ceremonious opening game for Morristown in multiple ways on Thursday night as the Colonials won their season-opening game against Mount Olive, 11-2. The win was also the first career victory for head coach Cody Katzenberger at the helm for Morristown with hopefully many more to come. “I am glad we won but there is a lot to clean up,” Katzenberger told TAPinto Morristown after the game. “It was not our prettiest win, but I will take it.

MORRISTOWN, NJ – The 2024 season was a magical ride for the Morristown softball team as the program captured their first sectional title with a Cinderella run through the state tournament. As the No. 12 seed Morristown managed to pull off multiple upsets and bring home a championship for a program that is bereft of titles. Despite last year’s triumphs, Morristown head coach Carly Minerowicz acknowledged that this year will bring with it a whole new set of challenges and obstacles to overcome.

MORRISTOWN, NJ – The 2024 season was a tale of two halves for the Morristown Colonials program. The team started off the season 0-4 before rattling off six straight wins from April 12th to May 2nd. Morristown ended the season with a solid record of 8-8 and a first-round exit from the state tournament after being upset by Hunterdon Central.
