    The heat of summer seems to have come a bit early, and while most people aren't thinking about snuggling under a quilt, the skill and beauty of quilts were on full display Saturday, May 10, 2025, at West Kendall Regional Library. Members of the Ocean Waves Quilt Guild of South Florida greeted visitors and had dozensof quilts, "from traditional, modern, and applique to paper-pieced and art quilts." There were discussions, demonstrations, and a special "Community Quilts" section.

It is bringing us all together to ensure that students not only learn in school, but they learn locally in their communities and local industries.
