    The defendant stole from the Tesco Express in Windsor (pictured) (Image: Google Maps) A man who stole nine steaks from the Tesco branch in Windsor has been ordered to pay compensation to the store. James Walsby, 26, of Hanover Way, Windsor, appeared before Reading Magistrates' Court on June 21. He stood charged with theft from a shop. This was in relation to an incident at the Windsor Tesco Express on April 1. Walsby made off with nine steaks from the store, valued at £43.80.

    The scene of the incident in Hemdean Road last August (Image: NQ) Thames Valley Police have released a statement after two boys were cleared of attempted murder over the stabbing of another youth in Caversham. After 14 hours of deliberation last week (June 27), jurors at Reading Crown Court acquitted the pair on charges of attempted murder and wounding with intent. The 17-year-olds - who cannot be named for legal reasons - were standing trial over an incident on August 9, 2023.

Christopher Richards, 57 - now resident in Birmingham - stands charged on four counts of indecent assault. He denies the charges.

    The man was subject to a roadside breath test - and was found to be drink-driving (stock image) (Image: NQ) A man who drove while almost three times over the legal drink-drive limit has been stripped of his licence for 23 months. Thomas D'Arcy, 34, of Town Lane, Wooburn Green, was stopped by police at Bourne End on May 7, 2024. A breath test was carried out, and it was found that D'Arcy had been drink-driving.

    The incident occurred Brunel Way in Slough (Image: Google Maps) A man has been charged over an incident in which a woman in her seventies had her handbag snatched off her - causing her to be dragged to the ground. Michael Fenwick, 32, of no fixed abode, stands accused of robbery. He has also been charged with two counts of fraud over an incident which occurred in Brunel Way in Slough on June 28. The offender stole the victim's handbag, before using her credit cards and stealing £50.
