With the 1-0 victory, Blue Mountain (8-1, 6-0 D-I) now sits alone atop the division.

POTTSVILLE — This one was about the defense. There was no doubt, no other explanation. Pottsville was just plain dominant. After a pair of non-league setbacks to open the season, the Tide turned up the defensive heat in opening the Schuylkill/Colonial League Gold Division season with a 28-7 victory over Lehighton on Friday night at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Tide held the Indians to just 27 rushing yards and 151 yards of total offense.
