The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival wrapped its final day on Sunday, April 20, but the festival’s bittersweet ending is less high school graduation and more summer break. While festival headliners won’t be returning like a graduating class would, there will be new incoming performers akin to the freshman, who will likely showcase what’s to come in next year’s best music. The second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival didn’t sell out, which means it didn’t exactly hit the 125,000 people capacity that the Empire Polo Club in Indio did last week. Post Malone didn’t bring out any country stars during his set on Sunday, but the influence of recent collaborators such as Morgan Wallen and Tim McGraw – and Malone’s love of the country genre in general – was clear in his headliner performance that closed out the first weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. He pulled about a third of his set from the 2014 album “F-1 Trillion,” which featured collaborations with Wallen, McGraw, Dolly Parton, Jelly Roll and more.
