West Mercia's Operations Patrol Unit stopped 12 drivers in Worcestershire in just one day for driving illegally on the road. The unit described how it caught eight drivers for wearing no seatbelt, one for using a mobile phone, another without valid insurance and one who was disqualified from driving.

UPSET: A large number of fish were found dead in Diglis. (Image: Newsquest) MYSTERY surrounds a school of dead fish found in a Worcester canal. A large number of fish were found dead in Diglis near a section of the canal where it connects to the River Severn. The school of around 20 to 30 fish was discovered floating on top of the water. A spokesperson for the Canal and River Trust is unaware of why dead fish are in the canal but said they will monitor the area.
