We started the day with widespread showers due to the soggy weather. This morning rain is expected to decrease around lunchtime and into the early afternoon. Later today, more showers and thunderstorms will move into our area from late afternoon into the evening as a cold front arrives. Some of these storms could be strong to severe, and our area is currently under a level 1 risk with the possibility of all forms of severe weather.

Our weather forecast for today includes some lingering scattered showers and thunderstorms, but most areas should remain dry with periods of sunshine. It will be a rather pleasant day for outdoor activities, with afternoon temperatures reaching the upper 70s and low 80s. The highest chance for stronger thunderstorms will be just south of our region. However, we could see a few isolated stronger storms move northward into our area overnight and into Thursday morning.

The unsettled weather pattern continues, with showers and thunderstorms remaining in the forecast. While there's a Level 1 risk for severe storms in part of our area today, the primary threat appears to be gusty winds from some of the thunderstorms. The likelihood of more significant severe weather should remain to our south. We can expect continued chances for showers and thunderstorms over the next several days, with some of this activity potentially bringing heavier rainfall.
