Strong to severe storms storms Friday

Our weather forecast indicates that we will experience more rain and thunderstorms today, tonight, and into Saturday morning. Some of these storms could be heavy at times. The primary severe weather threats include strong, gusty winds and occasional large hail. There is also a possibility of a few isolated thunderstorms producing tornadoes. This weather activity is expected to move out of our area by Saturday.

We will have more rain move in the next few days. A cold front will move into our area today. This will bring some off and on chances for some showers and thunderstorms into our weather forecast over the next few days. Some of the rainfall may be briefly on the heavy side and some of the thunderstorms may be on the briefly hefty side. Most of the stronger thunderstorms may reach levels of large hail and strong/gusty winds. Temperatures will cool down by just a little bit over the next several days.

Wednesday will be another nice weather day. Party cloudy but enough sun that you need the sunglasses and sunscreen. Afternoon highs reach the mid to upper 80s. Most will stay dry but some could see an isolated shower or thunderstorm. A better chance for some rainfall will be in our weather forecast for our Thursday and Friday as a cold front moves into our area. This could even give our area a few hefty thunderstorms at times.

We will continue to see nice weather for Tuesday and Wednesday. As high pressure will continue to dominate our weather forecast. We will have mostly sunny and mostly dry conditions. Afternoon highs in the mid to upper 80s. More chances for some rain will be back in our area by Thursday. This will be due to some low pressure moving into our area. Some showers for the morning with thunderstorms possible for the afternoon.

Monday will start with plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 80s by the afternoon. This will be well above average for this time of year. On top of the warmer temperatures, the humidity will still make the air feel muggy. The good thing we can take with this forecast is rain chances will be few and far between with an occasional isolated light shower possible.
