Interstitial lung disease (ILD) is common in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and leads to significant morbidity and mortality. Early identifying risk factors and early diagnosis are crucial to preventing irreversible damage and mortality. This meta-analysis showed that males, elders, older age at RA onset, smoking history, pulmonary comorbidities, rheumatoid nodule, and leflunomide treatment history were risk factors for RA-ILD.

AbstractUnipotent basal and luminal stem cells maintain prostate homeostasis, with an intermediate cell population emerging during prostate inflammation or cancer. However, the identities of basal stem cell and intermediate cell population remain unclear. Here we identified a rare intermediate cell population expressing luminal markers (termed Basal-B) with enhanced organoid formation capacity, and a larger basal population (termed Basal-A).

AbstractNeutrophils have a pathogenic function in inflammation via releasing pro-inflammatory mediators or neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs). However, their heterogeneity and pro-inflammatory mechanisms remain unclear. Here, we demonstrate that CXCR4hi neutrophils accumulate in the blood and inflamed skin in human psoriasis, and correlate with disease severity.
