    ASHBURNHAM — Trio Confero will play sonatas by Johannes Brahms and Wilhelm Berger for the opening of the Historical Piano Concert Series. The show will take place at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, at New Dawn Arts Center/Ashburnham Community Church. Each concert, continuing every Sunday through the month of May, will feature a single piano from the Frederick Collection of Historical Grand Pianos, in music of that piano’s time and place.

    FITCHBURG — As one of the avenues to help girls learn leadership skills at a young age, Girl Scout Troop 65505 is welcoming new members who are going into grade 2 in the fall. Girl Scouts provide young girls with opportunities to explore leadership, financial literacy, life skills, STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), the outdoors, and community service. Troop 65505 will meet bi-weekly on Mondays from 6 p.m. until 7:15 p.m. in Fitchburg.
