Last year Frontline Arts was celebrating 50 years of spreading its unique take on print and papermaking in the local community. This year the creative hub is struggling to make ends meet and fighting for survival. That’s because the funding that’s sourced the Branchburg-based nonprofit, formerly known as the Printmaking Center of New Jersey, focused on socially engaging arts practices has dried up.

Frontline Arts provides free art programs for veterans, students, and health care workers, including a program where veterans transform their uniforms into paper. The organization has launched a GoFundMe campaign with a goal of $50,000 to cover operating costs. The organization is seeking additional funding sources, including corporate sponsorships. Last year Frontline Arts was celebrating 50 years of spreading its unique take on print and papermaking in the local community.

13-year-old Omar Danso is in need of a kidney transplant after being diagnosed with end-stage renal failure. Omar’s mother is undergoing testing to be a living donor, while other potential donors are also being sought. Omar continues to receive dialysis treatment and remains positive while awaiting a transplant. In December 13-year-old Omar Danso started feeling sick. His mother planned to take him to the doctor, but, at the time, was not overly concerned.

It was a very happy birthday for Derek Menzin. On the day he turned 12, the Eisenhower Intermediate School sixth grader won the New Jersey title of Lego 2025 Mini Master Model Builder. A friendly competition hosted by Legoland Discovery Center at the American Dream mall in East Rutherford brought out the state's best to compete for the title, but Derek’s build quickly stood out among their top seven.

Daoud, who has lived in the US for over 20 years, is known for his kindness and work ethic. The community has rallied in support of Daoud, raising funds and advocating for his release with the help of local politicians. ICE maintains that Daoud has exhausted all legal options and is subject to a final order of removal.
