The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services transferred more than $5 million of funds generated by Missouri’s adult-use marijuana program to agencies this week, according to a news release. The $5,459,172 transferred this week brings the total amount transferred from funds generated by Missouri’s adult-use marijuana program this fiscal year to $21,836,688.

The Pleasant Road Bridge in Pettis County is back open after passing final inspections, according to a news release from the county commission. The project was paid for using American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. The cost in all came in at just under $300,000. “It's good for our local people to have safer ways to get around where they live," Pettis County Western Commissioner Jim Marcum said.
