A 64-year-old man from Columbia has been accused of sexual misconduct after he allegedly exposed himself in the parking lot of Douglass High School last week. Mark Dennis Jones is charged with first-degree sexual misconduct after he allegedly exposed himself and urinated on the ground Douglass High School in front of a student, who is a minor. The student and her mother were in their vehicle when the alleged incident happened, according to court documents.

Charges have been filed against the man who allegedly engaged in a standoff with police on Friday after a weapons incident on North Stadium Boulevard in Columbia. Michael Whited, 59, is charged with making a terrorist threat in the second degree, resisting arrest, and three counts of fourth-degree assault. Police said Whited barricaded himself in his apartment, resulting in a 10-hour standoff at Ash Street Place Apartments on Friday that ended in Whited's arrest.

A 20-year-old man from Sturgeon has been arrested and charged with four felonies and a misdemeanor in connection to a shooting on Maguire Boulevard in Columbia over the weekend. Jadon Gooldy is charged with first-degree assault, two counts of armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and fourth-degree assault, court records show. Court documents allege Gooldy opened fire at several people and a piece of a bullet ricocheted off the ground and hit one person in the leg.

A 70-year-old man was arrested following a reported stabbing Monday in the 2900 block of Leeway Drive in Columbia, according to the Columbia Police Department. Arthur Hooks, of Columbia, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon, police said in a news release. The victim reportedly arrived at a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. The victim and witnesses identified the suspect as Hooks, police said.

All lanes of Interstate 70 in Columbia are open after crews with the Missouri Department of Transportation finished removing an exit ramp ahead of schedule. The removal of the left exit ramp from westbound I-70 to Business Loop 70 began Friday evening and was set to last through the weekend.
