    HWA says it will race two Evos in the 2026 Nurburgring 24 Hours. The Mercedes 190-based supersedans will compete in the SP-X class. Liveried development cars will run demo laps at this weekend’s race. Looking like a hero race car is one thing, but now HWA’s Evo wants to prove it’s got the substance to back up that swagger. HWA, whose creation is a modern reimagining of the Mercedes 190 Evolution II, has confirmed it will enter two cars in the 2026 Nurburgring 24 Hours.

    Stellantis is calling for 441,000 cars to pulled from roads after a fatality in France. The move comes after a woman died when her C3’s faulty Takata airbag exploded. Older Citroen C3 and DS3s with their original airbags are hit with a stop-drive recall. More than 16 years after the first reported death attributed to a ruptured Takata airbag, the faulty components are still taking lives.

    Honda Is Recalling 259,000 cars because pressing the brake is like playing whack-a-mole. The brake pedal on some 2021-20025 Honda and Acura models could shift out of position. Only Honda Pilot and Acura MDX and TLXs produced with American-made parts are affected. The ability to stop a car is pretty useful if you want to avoid hospital or jail. You want to know that the brake pedal is where you left and that treading on it is going to haul you up like you asked.
