It happened at David Lloyd Leisure Club in Hartspring Lane, at around 8.20pm on Saturday, May 3, following which police today (May 9) launched an appeal.

(Image: Google Street View/ Herts Police) Two boys were attacked by a knife-wielding male in a Watford park – sparking a police appeal for information. The 17-year-olds were walking on a pathway in Waterfields Recreational Park that links Radlett Road and Waterfields when they were approached by an unknown male. The suspect was reported to have brandished a knife and assaulted the pair, police said.

(Image: Andrew Beswick) Watford firefighters are among dozens tackling a huge fire at a Hertfordshire industrial estate this morning. Ten engines and around 50 firefighters rushed to Letchworth’s Jubilee Road at 4.36am to battle the “significant fire” on the Jubilee Trade Centre, a Herts Fire and Rescue spokesperson said.
