The 17-year-olds were walking on a pathway in Waterfields Recreational Park that links Radlett Road and Waterfields when they were approached by an unknown male. The suspect was reported to have brandished a knife and assaulted the pair, police said.

Ten engines and around 50 firefighters rushed to Letchworth’s Jubilee Road at 4.36am to battle the “significant fire” on the Jubilee Trade Centre, a Herts Fire and Rescue spokesperson said.
