On Saturday, St. Anne’s-Belfield inducted the first seven members of its Athletic Hall of Fame as part of its annual alumni weekend. STAB honored Annie Cory, Porter Wilkinson Wall, Colin Pehanick, Alan Swanson, Chris Long, Mary King Blake and Doug Tarring. Long, the No. 2 pick in the 2008 NFL Draft and 2018 Walter Payton Man of the Year winner, enjoyed the opportunity to additionally be recognized by his high school alma mater.

ORANGE — The Louisa County and Orange County softball teams had the two best Jefferson District records in 2024. On May 18, 2024, the Blue Ridge and St. Anne’s-Belfield boys lacrosse teams played for the VISAA Division I state championship at Frank G. Addonizio Field, where the Barons prevailed, 14-10. Ten-and-a-half months later, the same teams met at the same place for a regular season matchup. “You can kind of see where you stand up against the rest of these teams,” Blue Ridge captain Jace Dolinski said. “Being able to play competition like this — that's what it's going to be when we get to the state final.
