A leadership election is scheduled to take place for the co-leadership of the party this summer and Harvie has confirmed that he won’t be a candidate. Harvie has had a decades-long position at the forefront of the Scottish Greens.

    It's Spring and I'm already tired of the storms. Tornado watches, Thunder storms, and heavy rains for the past week. Wednesday night we were awaken by the weather alerts and spent a couple hours sheltering. Heavy Storm passed after 5am. Schools closed due to flooding road and downed trees. More storms over the weekend. I just want to see the sun and have warm weather. What are your goals for the week? What are you building? What are you working on this week?     Local elections are taking place across parts of England on 1 May 2025. In total, 25 councils will see elections take place, with 1,641 seats up for grabs. The full list of candidates in every election was announced on April 3 and, thanks to data crunching carried out by Election Maps UK, we now know how many candidates each party is standing across the country.
