On October 7th, 2023, a special emergency team arrived at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art to move valuable masterpieces to protected storage, including works by Pablo Picasso, Francis Bacon, René Magritte, Gustav Klimt, Georgia O’Keeffe, Leonora Carrington, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Alexander Calder, and many others. Now, nearly fifteen months later, the artworks will return to the galleries, which will reopen to the public.

The sale featured 49 lots, and was 100% sold, achieving a total of $8 Million.
