This makes zero sense. If the Patriots believe the Giants are high enough on Sanders to take him with their first pick, why wouldn't they just wait for the Giants to pick Sanders at 3 and take Carter/Hunter at 4?

I’m told that momentum between Patriots and Giants for a R1 pick swap has picked up momentum. Perhaps Pats want remainder of Hunter/Carter. Giants could look to take Sheduer Sanders at 4. Interesting development.
