Borderlands 4 is going to be the biggest Borderlands to date, according to the CEO of developer Gearbox Software, speaking during a PAX East panel. That’s to be expected; with sequels there’s the expectation that they’ll take things to the next level. But what’s particularly intriguing is Pitchford’s boast that you go virtually anywhere. “There’s no load times. Dead by Daylight is getting not one but two crossovers, teaming up with Five Nights at Freddy’s and The Witcher, two games that are as far apart as you could imagine.
