Welcome to GameSpew! Our journey began in January 2015 in the charming town of Rotherham, located in Yorkshire, UK. Co-founders Richard Seagrave and Kim Snaith, who have been avid gamers for as long as they can remember, decided to channel their enthusiasm into a meaningful project, resulting in the launch of their small blog, GameSpew. Fast forward five years, and GameSpew now attracts over 400,000 visitors each month from around the globe, establishing itself as one of the largest independently-run gaming websites in the UK. Rich and Kim, along with a dedicated team of skilled writers, publish new content daily to keep our readers engaged.

Gust’s and Koei Techmo’s Atelier series has been running since the 1990s, with no less than 25 mainline games now available. You can double that when you add side games and re-releases into the mix. In other words, then, the Atelier series is a force to be reckoned with. But what are the best Atelier games of all time? Who doesn’t love a surprise? Today, developer Frogwares has announced a surprise remaster of The Sinking City on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC — and better yet, it’s free to anyone who already owns the game on those formats. Hear us out, but some single-player games are excellent for couples to play together, too.

Survivors-like games are all the rage these days, and so it’s no surprise that Ocean Keeper caught my attention. After all, I’ve had a blast destroying hordes of vampires in Vampire Survivors, fighting the forces of evil in 20 Minutes Till Dawn and downing zombies in Yet Another Zombie Survivors. Ocean Keeper offers its own twist on the formula, combining survivors-like gameplay with resource gathering. The result is a moreish, frenetic struggle for survival that I simply cannot get enough of.

Borderlands 4 is going to be the biggest Borderlands to date, according to the CEO of developer Gearbox Software, speaking during a PAX East panel. That’s to be expected; with sequels there’s the expectation that they’ll take things to the next level. But what’s particularly intriguing is Pitchford’s boast that you go virtually anywhere. “There’s no load times. You see something, anywhere on the screen, a mile away, up in the sky, you will be able to get there,” he explains (via PC Gamer).
