Brad Penner-Imagn Images Draped in their City Connect uniforms that pull from a similar color palette to those of their opponents, the Mets scored early and often and got a very good start from Kodai Senga as the beat the Rockies for the second time in as many days. As a point of comparison, the Mets are currently on pace to win 101 games, while the Rockies are now on pace to lose 137.

Photo by Mike Stobe/Getty Images Through the first two months of the 2025 season, Juan Soto’s been just about as underwhelming as anyone could’ve imagined. The 26-year-old has hit just .224/.352/.393 with a 113 wRC+ that ranks 85th in baseball and a .330 wOBA that ranks 86th. Those two metrics are linked, albeit with more nuance and accuracy in wRC+ than the latter. Expected stats based on Statcast data give us something by which we can compare wOBA, though: xwOBA.

I don't tweet anymore, but before Game 3, I said this to @BrianNeedsaNap: "Did Pete Alonso personally piss on everyone’s favorite rugs while I was in the UK? My goodness the negativity around him is a lot right now." #LFGM
