Link Academy completed a dominant run through the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions with a win over Oak Ridge in the title game on Saturday. It is the second Tournament of Champions title in as many tries for the Lions. Link Academy trailed for just 27 second in the championship game and for just 4:27 of an available 96 minutes over three games. The Lions were on fire from the field shooting 60% (26-for-43) from the field. They were 54% (7-for-13) from three.

Oak Ridge will face Link Academy in the 2025 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions title game on Saturday after beating Christ the King 76-65. Christ the King took a 21-16 lead after the first quarter. In the second quarter, Oak Ridge took control with a 21-9 advantage in the frame for a 37-30 lead at half. The lead grew to 15 at 56-41 after three quarters. The matchup featured a lot of work in the paint with the teams combining for 72 points down low.

Link Academy is returning to the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions title game two years after winning the tournament thanks to a 53-36 win over the Bullis School in the semifinal round. The Lions only trailed for 1:24 of the entire game. They were up 12-7 after one quarter and 25-15 after two. The lead only continued to grow in the second half on the way to the 53-36 win. The Lions outscored Bullis 26-14 in the pain and shot 47% from the field.

Parkview pushed Milton (GA) down to the wire, but a jumper by Grant McDuffie as time expired gave Milton a 48-46 win over Parkview. Parkview came out hot taking a 15-8 lead after one quarter. Milton responded with a 13-4 advantage in the second quarter to jump in front 21-19 at the half. The Vikings answered back in the third quarter taking a 37-33 lead after three quarters. In the fourth quarter, Milton scored the first basket to cut the lead to 37-35.

Millennium (AZ) came out on fire in the first half and continued that trend through the second half in a 74-43 win over Springfield Central in the first consolation semifinal on the day. The Tigers took a 35-17 lead at the break. In the third quarter, Millennium went for 30 points to Central’s 17. Cameon Holmes (UNC, Michigan, LSU, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, BYU, TCU, USC, Stanford, Washington and Tennessee offers) led the scoring attack with 22 points for Millennium.
