    Link Academy completed a dominant run through the Bass Pro Tournament of Champions with a win over Oak Ridge in the title game on Saturday. It is the second Tournament of Champions title in as many tries for the Lions. Link Academy trailed for just 27 second in the championship game and for just 4:27 of an available 96 minutes over three games. The Lions were on fire from the field shooting 60% (26-for-43) from the field. They were 54% (7-for-13) from three.

    Link Academy’s depth and dominance was on full display in a 78-62 win over Millennium (AZ) in the opening round of the 2025 Bass Pro Tournament of Champions. The Lions led for 26:54 of the available 32 minutes in the game. They had seven blocks, six steals and assisted on 19 of 31 field goals. Link trailed by as many as five early in the first quarter, but quickly turned that around closing the first quarter on a 14-4 run and the first half on a 27-13 run.

So far Bynum — the 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward from Link Academy and the Mokan Elite Nike EYBL AAU Program — has taken official visits to several schools. He’s seen Nebraska (Sept. 7), Iowa (Sept. 14), Colorado (Sept. 21) and Ohio State (Oct. 4-6), and has an upcoming visit to Xavier (Oct. 11-13).
